Bostock would be a good addition to the squad, but it would leave us with an extremely lightweight midfield.

Well according to Sam we're about 800k off the 2.4m playing budget.
It's getting there.

Is that a rumour or a suggestion? Because it would be a fantastic signing.

A suggestion as to the answer to the riddle. B.Stock. I don't for one moment suggest he would join us but is an experienced midfielder who might fancy coming back down south. In other words, a bit of a Chang.

We've got 800k left to spend or need to save another 800k?

Sam says we are currently at £3.2m, so we need to save the £800k.

Navarro, Cox and McEverley ?
Although I can only see those 3 going out on loan with us still paying some of the wages.

Several clubs are still interested in Ward as well so its not cut and dried that hes staying, but Caddis must be on £250k of that surely and well pretty much all Paolo's signings are probably on a fair whack of wages with Navarro and McEvileye on similar amounts too.
Rooney is not wanted by KMac it would seem and Benson wants first team football so that is probably £1 million off the wages and even more if we could offload Cox too.

With Cox out until October there is no chance of offloading him before next January I would have thought!

Cox was signed from Scotland though so cant beleive he is one of the highest earners
I would hazard a guess that Benson, Ward & Caddis are the 3 highest earners currently with Navarro not far behind, I'd be surprised if Caddis dont move on to a championship club

I don't think anyone is suggesting Cox is a high earner, just unwanted at the club it would seem so its a wasted wage.
