It's only rumour, but would we be happy if we signed Akinfenwa?

We probably still have Razors shorts so they should fit.

Hardly inspiring when a L2 club don't want to retain his services.

Tough one, he certainly scores goals but mostly in league 2 ... Are we assuming the front line will not include some or all of Rooney, Williams and Collins?

Bothroyd doesn't like him, my Cobbs following friends love him and want him to stay - I wouldn't be adverse to him joining, we need more of a presence in the 18 yard box.

Would we be happy going into the season with Rooney, Williams, Collins and Storey as our strikers out of interest? For me it would be a yes. However I think that had Collins received as many chances as Williams did last season, he'd have scored 30 goals. I quite like Rooney as well, he is slower than molasses, but has a presence in the air and takes a good penalty. I would love Williams to come good, and still doubt Storey's ability, however would also be happy to be proved wrong by him.

I agree with this, I have no doubt those four strikers would score goals next season…But what we need are 2 good wingers and/or a creative central midfielder who can lay the chances on for them, that is what is missing at the moment.

I actually see a player in Roberts for the left wing. I know he polarises opinion, but he can put in a cracking cross with his left peg. If he becomes more consistent and we get a decent right winger who also can provide some ammo, we could be ok next season, going forward at least anyway!

Absolutely not - an extremely limited footballer.

He is the sort of striker we are missing, a poacher in the Benson mould.
1 in 3 career goal record. Not a signing that would massively excite me but we could do a lot worse

It would help if he lifted his head and looked when he crossed

it would also help if a couple of players got themselves in the box from time to time
