£2M is not alot in the grand scheme of things. Take £2M now or keep the team and win promotion to The Championship is worth far more.
Take £2mill now and spend it on geting to the Championship would make sense though!

But every club/player relationship has a tipping point where the transfer fee offered is far in excess of the player's actual worth

If anywhere near £2m is ever offered for Ritchie I'd expect, and hope, the club bites their hand off

Football is about winning.

We're far more likely to win with Ritchie on the wing rather than £2m in the bank.

If ritchie left our whole way of playing would change you can see our moves are centered around ritchie

But we wouldn't just lose Ritchie and have £2m in the bank

We would, I presume, have a replacement for Ritchie.

Are you saying there is no player able to replace him?

If we sold Ritchie for £2m this is exactly what we would have.

So why do you think there would be no replacement for him - whether now or in January?

We've already had the 'Ritchie cant operate with Caddis' debate - which has, so far, proved not to be the case.

Whenever he goes I would presume PdC would either have a replacement in mind or be convinced someone already at the club could do the job

Robbie Fowler will be at the game tomorrow, few mentions of it on Twitter, potential signing?

Hope not, think that would be a big mistake, 37 years old, past it now.

As much chance of that happening as there was of Kewell signing.
