It was another rubbish game overhyped by ITV.

why wouldnt there be hype around man utd/barcelona game? hardly blame ITV for a poor game although their coverage is shite, Tevez is mint

I wasn't talking about the build up I'm talking about the fact that they describe the game that wasn't as good as they make out.

Whatever happened to commentators saying that games were "scrappy, nervy but they got through" instead they talk about things that have happened decades ago and a club having an affinity with a trophy they've only won twice.

I don't care that Manchester United went through - I just hate the circus of top flight football.

Ronaldo looked fucked towards the end, in need of a rest pronto.

No surprise really, Barcelona seem pretty weak now. The premiership is just way stronger than the other leagues at the moment.

I saw Barcelona last month when they demolished a shitter than shit Levante 5-1 - give them time and they'll destroy you - but they don't do enough tactically in Europe, they seem to expect it to work eventually even when under pressure.

To be honest both clubs have fans all over the place but I see your point.

Scholes = Brilliant.

Like to see Lampard do that, like to see him try!

Scholes is a truly awesome player. Barely gets any credit compared to Lampard and Gerrard which I think is unfair.

I'll get shot down for this, but I think Wes 'the first ginger black man' Brown had a great game tonight. He's been very good this season, or at least the games i've seen, looks a completely different player now he's playing regularly.

Booo. Does that mean an English team is definitely going to win it? Oh well, looks like Chelsea are the lesser of the 3 evils. If I've got the last 3 teams right anyway.

If Scholes could tackle he'd be a great player, as it is he can't tackle for toffee so he's a very good attacking midfielder.  So annoying the way he goes he for tackle and just dangles that ginger leg of his in there and gives away a free kick, nearly, every single time.
