I agree- I'll expect they'll get the 5 points back so they've effectively been done 10.
Which is right in all honesty, if it's 10 points it's 10 points, you can't bend it to stitch someone up, even if it is cunting Leeds.

The 10 points deduction is for going into administration though which is NOT what Leeds were punished with the 15 point deduction for. That was a separate punishment for breaking League regs by not exiting administration via a CVA for which there is no set punishment, so the League were entitled to impose what punishment they saw fit.

them going on about having 25 in total pisses me off too - they chose to go into administration when they knew 10 points would make no difference to their season, they did that deliberately to make the deduction meaningless, so they can't winge about it now. what they are doing now is holding he league to ransom as they know now that any decision will have a direct influence on the outcome of the competition. They are cocks and I hope it backfires on them (but i'm sure it won't)

I still dont get why Swansea aren't champions yet-Leeds cant catch 'em even if they get all their points back

I would imagine Nottingham Forest, Doncaster and Carlisle already have their legals ready to fight if Leeds get their 15 points back. What a situation.
I can't see how Leeds can get just a proportion of points back, it should be you were right to appeal abd the FL were wrong 15 points back, or you were wrong, 0 points. If Leeds are given 10 points back for example, Bates is going to go straight back on appeal.
I think the original deduction was extremely harsh, I also believe I am right by saying (Leeds) only received about 10% support from Football League sides when the decision was made, so roughly 90% believed it to be the correct decision.
Bates has been the problem all along he thought he was above the law and tried to cheat creditors buying back the club for peanuts (inland revenue not a good idea to take them on), it was not Leeds Utd football club and their supporters who were in the wrong.

What dell said. Spot on - 15 points was probably too harsh on Leeds, but it was Bates they were punishing.

so as I see it there are two choices:
1- let the deduction stand and piss off the (mostly) undeserving Leeds club and fans, but put an end to it.
2- give Leeds the points back and piss off the (mostly) undeserving clubs and fans of Swansea, Doncaster, Forest, Carlisle, Southend and frankly most other 'neutrals' in the whole league and have appeals and legal cases going on all through next season ?
If I was a lawyer eyeing up a new extension to my house I'd obviously go for 2, but as a football fan the choice seems mind blowingly simple to me - sorry Leeds.

actually there is option 3 too, give Leeds back some of the points and then basically piss off everyone except lawyers who get a whole new house in the Carribean, rather than just an extension
