nah definately maskells shot is better, and how the hell do you lot remember other bits? i.e. peterboro 92/93 i was there and cant remember bugger all bar being in a pub full of boro fans before hand, did that finish 3-3? It was 3-3 thanks to Nicky Hammond! I've got the goals and highlights on video, that's how i remember. I was there but my memory isn't that good! was a cracking match, slaughtered them for a draw. How we didn't win that i'll never know.

Was good to see him grab the goal at the 2nd attempt. Watching the highlights I found it ridiculously funny to see the Port Vale guy decide he couldn't be bothered and hope it might have been offside!
I'm not oing to jump to any conclusions just yet but his movement did look good and he's clearly got a bit of pace - hopefully he'll get another chance (or 3) by the end of the season.

I liked the fact that after missing the first, he still battled on to get the second. Glad he was given a chance.

I like the fact he instantly learned from his own mistake. The first chance, you could tell he was almost too eager to score and completely snatched at it. Compare that to the 2nd where he was composed and couldn't have hit it any better.

oh yeah and I guess if the Rock did leave then Joycey would be a good replacement to follow - I like to bareback the youth players!

Not in first team football. Completely different to reserve / youth. The first one you could clearly see he was over excited and hit it far too early. He learnt from it and took the second chance superbly.

Yes, I see what you mean, but surely the same would apply each time he stepped up the ladder, therefore by definition you'd expect him to have learnt the lesson before now. By the same token, you wouldn't be able to make the same comment if he joins a club further up the hierarchy

I don't think you can anticipate the adrenaline rush of your debut. Even the best can get put off by the big occassion. I think Tails was probably trying to say he regained his composure well, after the earlier error.

I've always liked the mooing sound of a happy cow. Generally I agree, but its a bit of a bugger, when you're camping, and teh cow is mooing in the next field at some unsaintly time, like break of day, when you fancy a bit of extra kip. Even worse is when the buggers are in the same field feeding, ruminating on the grass about a foot from your head.
