Fair play to the Vale fans for singing through.

Hadwin mentioned that, fair play to them.

Half of them disappearedat half time! But all credit to the ones who stayed and sang, despite the stewards seemingly getting funny with them for no reason.

Anybody hear anything about the post-match fracas just off County Road?

I blame Diamandis insurgents..... or maybe it was few Vale lads who fancied themselves?

Bit of naughtiness. A dozen or so of their lot, with bottles, charged the smokers out the back of the CGH, and got chased off.

Ever the opportunist, I went straight to an emptying bar...

sounds a bit like when a mini bus ;load of hartlepool fans had a go out sode the county.
fair play i say!

totally unrelated but did anyone else see andy king in the arkells today?
he came down the steps and fucked off through the entrance to the winners during the secong half.similar time to the times he used to come down the steps to the dug out.

Very similar to the Hartlepool incident!

I always wanted King to fall down the steps, not because I didn't like him, just for the laugh. Anyway, I doubt that King was watching any Vale players! Comminges maybe?

That's twice in recent weeks. Who is he scouting for Sturrock Wink

As for the game, superb. Yes Vale were poor, but don't under-estimate the hard work we put in as well. Well done all.

We could have had 8 or 9 if we'd have kept our foot on the gas tbh. But 6 is fine and we'll take that. Safe as well which is great. 3 pointless games coming up.

I can remember stoke fans doing a conga and cheering when we did them 6-0 in the 80's

I bloody missed the 5th and 6th goals having a piss.  Beer has a lot to answer for, as does impatience and thinking because we'd just scored the 4th in the last minute of the half it was safe to go.
