Why don't you pay fB to come round and cook something for you....I'd say 12.50 an hour would be a reasonable rate.

i also have no food in the house. the soup I had earlier really hasn't filled me up, neither did the cheesy naan bread at 3am.

i just went and bought a 99p pizza from the corner shop. Think I'll chop a pepper, chili, and grate cheese on top  - it looks more like a round piece of bread with a bit of ketchup at the moment.

I've been learning to cook now I know I'm off to uni.

Did garlic-roasted prawns in a provincale sauce on a bed of linguine last night, fucking lovely (albeit probably too expensive and time-consuming to do regularly as a student).

My kid tells me pasta is the way forward....he uses a jar of Homepride pasta bake sauce though.

When I was a student,  in our house we ate communally....cooking was done by rota,  I had fuck all idea, so picked up a few recipes from the birds. I had about three or four 1.  Cheese and potato pie,  mash spud with a load of cheese in bung in pie.  2. Meatloaf,  cook up mince and onion, pad it out with soya mince sub and bung in  a tin of condensed tomato soup...bake in oven.  3. Risotto....cook some rice, bung in tin of sweetcorn, mushrooms and any other stuff edible to hand. 4 Lentils on toast...cook some lentils sprinkle on toast (courtesy Neil from Young Ones)

I vowed once in a job never to eat any of these again.
