I'm going to give axs a ring and see if he wants to meet up. I don't really care about beers or fags. I'm just feeling bored and lonely.

I just got my second highest ever score on the Facebook brain training game, and that's after 1 and a half bottles of wine.
I think that proves everybody should turn up at work pissed, it helps engage your brain.

instead i spent tonight not listening to the footballing and installing ubuntu on a virtual machine :? I installed Ubuntu last time I was fucking about when one of my hard-drives died. I had to have a working knowledge of linux when I was doing my degree, but even so it's fucking easy to use. I don't get all this virtual machine shit though? I've always planned ahead and put in the occasional spare partition for extra OS Playing. The problem I had with Ubuntu is that it found it really difficult to connect to my router. Not Ubunu's fault to be fair. My router is fucking shit. Interestingly it did recognise my USB 2.0 PCI Card as USB 2.0. Windows seems to think it's only old school shit USB. However many times I install the drivers.

it runs just as well on a VM, so i might as well not bother with using it as a proper OS - i'm only using it for work testing things. i like it though.
i can't VPN into work, i think i've been given the wrong IP. nice

I think that proves everybody should turn up at work pissed, it helps engage your brain. I have been an advocate of that philosophy for many a year now As was I, when I was working anyay. I got in trouble the time I turned up still battered after axs had shaved my head at whatever time in the morning. I couldn't hide the drunkeness that time. Especially after about 2hours sleep. Luckily it was a Thursday (I think) So I had the evening off. An all dayer would have killed me. Part of me would love to get back in the kitchen again, it's well rewarding when it works, although I don't think I'm wired right to handle the shit. I can cope with my own stress, but if someone else is taking their stress out on you then I always end up getting wound up. And I'm not good when I'm being wound up in a stressful environment.

Yeah Sonic you loser, you should be driving to Swindon with some fags.
What are you testing? Do you have a generic way that clients approach the server? Are you trying to mix it up a bit with sketchy "hello"/login calls?
You're a crazy cat mr sonic.
