Wooo! Hull scored late too! Response from Reading mate: Were down, that was bad, very bad That sounds like a bit of an over reaction to me from your Reading friend. I think they'll stay up. (That said, I'm tempted to head down to my local this evening...usually a few Royals fans there, and I enjoy winding them up.) The teams that are potentially going up this year look relatively weak to me, so I'd say there is even more of an incentive to avoid relegation than usual this year.

Probably true, you look at teams around the top of the championship and any of them that go up you can see them just dropping straight back down, apparently if City go up their chairman will pump some of his own money in as he has recently sold his buisness

City would get dicked in the Premiership and it would be fucking fantastic. Why would they??? Reading didn't, Wigan didn't.... City are a much bigger club than Wigan and with the chairman ploughing 30Million in there they have a chance... The calibre of player I think they would bring in though would likely be drips and drabs of relegated prem teams this year though. As much as I hate City with a passion it would be good to see some other clubs getting into the premier league

Things are looking a lot better tonight....Gills will need to win all three of their remaining games to get 53 points....2 are away, Rovers next week and Leeds last match. We can ensure survival by beating PV. Whatever happens next week, the Gills cannot be relegated...so it looks like it's up to us to send them down...

I don't really care too much who goes down, as long its not us....Gills look the most likely candidate, so I concentrate on them. I'd rather see them go than Cheltnumb, just becasue Cheltnumb is a derby.

Although it would be nice to see, I'm not sure I could stand and laugh at Gills if we sent them down. They may be a bunch of pikeys with a pointless, ancient axe to grind, but having been through relegation recently I'd feel bad. Ah well. I'll just leave it up to the rest of you heartless bastards

Over reaction is my friends middle name! (Panda Paws knows who I'm on about too) When I went out last night his Facebook status read "is off to Bridgend to hang himself"

It's a testament to my weekend pubbage that I only heard of the result this morning What you go in empty posh country pubs where no bugger is interested in football?
