Motherboard advice

basically my mobo died the other day with a bios checksum error.
sent it back to Overclockers for a new one and i get told today it's being sent back without being tested cos two pins on the cpu board are bent!!!!

i was extremely pissed as these were fine when i sent the item but now it's warrenty is void and they wont replace it :evil:  :evil:

seriously fucked off as it's only 2 months old.
(anyone want to make an offer on it - Foxconn P35AP-S Intel P35)

so i want to know what shall i get now.
budget around £120ish.
was going to think about Foxconn Mars??

ASUS P5N32 arent bad boards, depends on which chipset you are after and if you want SLi or not or if you wish to overclock it and to what extent.

I have had great results with the ASUS P5ND (£80ish) great overclocking, easy fit, 750i chipset. PCI-E 2.0.

MSI P35 Platinum (£90ish) with the P35 chipset, not so overclockable but still good value.

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 iP35 (£115ish) 1600mhz bus but no PCI-E 2.0.

I have never as yet tried any Foxconn boards but can vouch for the others as I have used them all in builds.

yes i did. made sure of it cos there was a warning saying the warrenty would be void.

Have you contacted Foxconn?

Tell them what happened. If they cannot replace it ask if it can be repaired for a nominal fee i.e. postage only or something.

If you can't get any luck from any avenue just write a snotty review on overclockers, just to get one back on them at least.

I'd go with the Asus P5K-deluxe if Foxconn don't offer to replace or repair your board.

i've spoken to foxconn and overclockers are sending a picture of the problem to them.

i've explaned it went to overclockers with a different problem yet this has happend. they seem pretty good so far but i'm not holding my breath
