Inspired (Not stolen Wink ) from Freds thread.

Iv'e never been to Prague, I have been told that I should.

I would love to visit Rio de Janeiro, especially during the Mardi Gras.

But an absolute must for me is Tokyo, the Japanese are generally a quiet bunch, although always polite and turn into delightfully enthusiastic nutters when pissed. More importantly though the Japanese have some habits that you and I would find bizzarre, I just think that a week or two in Tokyo will be a real experience. Anybody been before?

Love to do Reykjavik cause the thermal pools/springs etc. look amazing and would also love to do Kathmandu (Nepal) and Thimphu (Bhutan) as both look really interesting.

I've always wanted to go to New York. I'm hoping to go at Christmas.

Would love to do Vegas and LA too.

Rome is a great place! Love it there!

And as Lady said, Reykjavik seems like it would be an awesome place to visit.

I don't know why but recently I've been wating to visit somewhere glacial, maybe in Norway. Perhaps just because I've never been anywhere like that before.

I'd love to go to Prague as well. My dad told me it's like a more beautiful and more civilised Amsterdam - which was fantastic when I went. Would like to go to Madrid again too.

I've been to New York but I was too young to remember, thats always appealed to me.

Iceland is great but I really wasn't that keen on Reykjavik. It's a bit grey, concrete and about of 1/3 of the population live there or in the suburbs.

All the best things about it are really outside of it - like the thermal pools, springs and waterfalls. The north is nicer, like Akureyri - and weirdly warmer. Plus you get all the above but with less tourists and a much nice landscape.

Shame you can't fly direct -Unless you live in Faroes- but internal flights aren't too price or long.

I'd like to go to Kathmandu, Hong Kong and New York though.

Rome is great - loads of sights all in walking distance of each other, nearly always sunny, even when I went in Feb (was snowing on the way to Stansted and then Sunny in Italy.

All the nightclubs are in one area called distaccio (sp?) which means the city is still quite nice at night with little cafes and bars and stuff.

I climbed Franz Josef in NZ, was great fun, really enjoyed it, other than the hole in my boot and falling down a slope of ice.

South America, Vietnam and Cambodia (although plan to do this next year), New York, Barcelona, Vegas, west coast of Oz and Iceland. Not necessarily in that order.

Hong-Kong is ace, I spent 2 weeks there and loved it, Kowloon and the New territories are also worth visiting. I stayed near Kennedy town, can get Trams into the city for about 10p. had to climb 800 steps to the hostel through a small forest which was fun.
