I don't know about Blighty but Bangkok is forecast to be 37-39 degrees tomorrow, with a humidity of over 70%........ Unpleasant.
8 P.M. here now and I have had to turn on the air-con because all that the fan does is move slightly less warm air around. I'm glad that I have some valium because it would otherwise be very difficult to sleep in these conditions.
Still, Songkran is next week and so a great chance to cool off.

It's typical British spring here today.
10 to 12 degrees C, some sunshine and the odd spot of rain.

I will be getting to make the most of it at the weekend though.
The better halfs company have laid on a weekend for the staff because of Songkran, and I have been invited.
We are going to Kanchanaburi, never been there before but I am told that it is georgous. It is not coastal but is out in the sticks by the River Kwai and they have hire a big ass river boat for the weekend for cruises, swimming and fishing and stuff, dead looking forward to it.
Oh, and I get ALL of next week off work. My new job is ace-ness.
I appear to have forgotten how to spell georgous however, must be the heat.

Kanchaburi is ace, obligatory to whistle as you cross the river for the first time.
