The above information is accurate I received it same as Sam from a banks fraud team. Me too. They put a false front onto where you put the card in (normally quite easy to spot if you pay close enough attention), then when you put it in the device inside copies the information off of the magnetric stripe on the card. If they're really clever then they'll have a little camera watching you type yer PIN in too. You'll get your card back at the end and be none the wiser. Barclays told me the people who rigged them put cameras in the cash points at the west swindon one, said they're small and quite hard to see unless you pay close attention. |

Anyway, an English family (Dad, Mum and Son) where recently caught in Phuket for this.
What a bunch of cunts, coming to a poor country and stealing from the locals.

I've seen the devices before. And have seen in them use at the fraud department in wilts police, but I'm saying that it might be spam because e-mails with such information is hardly ever released. |
