The second part of the "podcast" round-table chat with Dave Byrne is now online at http://www.truststfc.co.uk/podcasts/. Sorry it took a little longer to get out than the first one - it took longer to edit up than we anticipated. Nonetheless, we hope it's just as interesting as the first part - listen to Dave chat about Paul Sturrock leaving, the takeover, what it's like to work with the new owners, Maurice Malpas and of course plenty of on-field stuff as well. Including a classic "demonstrating positional tactics with coffee cups" section which as you can imagine works really well on a podcast!

If you'd like to take part in future round-table chats like this or you've got your own ideas on what you'd like to hear in future podcasts, or you've got some material we can just put straight in either drop us an email or else post a suggestion etc in the podcasts section of the Trust forum.

Again, our very grateful thanks to Dave Byrne for giving up so much of his time to sit and chat with us.

QPR offered him a job? Is this before or after they became Squillionaires?

No reason in particular. We'd been discussing the idea with Dave Byrne of doing something like this since January so it was just an obvious move to do the first one with him. I think also the first one was always going to be a bit of a toe in the water for us and for the club so we all wanted to see how that went before expanding it out. We have asked to "do" MM for a future podcast so watch this space I guess.

You should do some spoof Radio Oxford podcasts, covering one of their games or something. Humours always good.

I think after. From the context of the conversation at that point, it's clearly around the time Sturrock left and they were already billionaired up at that point

To be honest from what I've heard, we'd be better off just putting their match commentary on there. Some things are beyond satire

Fair do's mate, just wondering.

Would love to hear the thoughts of MM though.  I have a friend who was at the 100 club breakfast meeting with MM yesterday and he said he was very impressed with what MM had to say.

No fair question - we'd love to get him on and hopefully we will.

Yeah I was bored the other night and paul's avatar was boring.

You should start up full on trust audio drama productions.

I'd like "Looking up at the World" starring Si and Ash

I'll look forward to listening over the weekend.  The first podcast was very good.

Any ideas how many people downloaded it in the end, Paul?

I don't know the exact figure off the top of my head, but last time I asked Andrew H it was well over 200. Which is a decent start - we'd always looked at this as being something that would grow gradually over time.
