there are many a family like that up and down the nation. and its a fucking disgrace these type of morons are allowed to breed
I think good family values and/or parenting isn't high on the agenda these days.
Unless we as a nation look to do something to change things, it will only get worse. The socially inept (this is my name for a bad parent with a few kids by different fathers/mothers - not just this instance) could bring up more socially inept and this situation will continue to become more commonplace.
Years and years ago it was frowned upon to have a child outside wedlock. I don't think having kids outside marriage is a bad thing at all, but at least this tradition brought about better family values and responsibility, which in turn probably lessened the likelihood of the situation you describe. That's a wild and very generalised assumption I have made there, but that is my opinion.
Now I'm not saying everyone should get married if they have a kid, or even stay with their partner at the time of conception, just that we have to support parents in different ways than what we are doing, otherwise kids will end up getting brought up in the same manner.
