Cox took his two goals well, yet missed the easiest chance!!

Come again? Basically the last man doesnt count as being able to play someone onside....in most cases the keeper is the last man......hence why if your past the last defender but infront of the keeper your offside. In a goal mouth scramble, if there is one person on the line....but the striker is behind the goal keeper....then the defender is the last last man and therefore doesnt play the striker onside make sense :? |

Also, I thought that the defender on the line stopped the ball, then Cox swooped in to slot it home, hence me wondering why he was given offside.
But I am willing to accept that I may have that entirely incorrect.

yey we won!!!!
going back to players in their favoured postitions and a 4,4,2 done the trick.shame so many games were wasted with the ridiculous team shuffling but hey ho.
macnamee mom and mcgovern was excellent too.nice to see coxy get a couple(second goal was ace!)
allround the team they all did their jobs well.
the lad for oldham that got all the stick i thought was their best player by a mile.
looked well under a 5000 gate from where i was sitting
