What is spinning? Its basically cycling on stationary bikes to music at various speeds! Burns shit loads of calories!

you can adjust the resistance on the bikes and the instructor tells you when to add more resistance etc so you do hill climbs/ races etc

I'd rather just ride my bike. 50 miles this week, new record for me  I've never really seen the point of doing " stationary" exercise, not when you can take yourself somewhere with it. Where do you gom for the 50?
