Are ice hockey commentators allowed to use the phrase?

I know the media love him, and he does score the odd good goal but Rooney, for me, is not the superstar people make out.  The amount of times he carelessly gives the ball away is shocking.

I prefer a striker like Torres to be honest.

Sorry for the unrelated post dude.

Your point Dell?  For me Torres is a better option up front.  I'll stick with that.

I knew he'd score as soon as I posted that btw!!  Typical.

That Ronaldo is shit....

I totally agree Janaage, Torres is the complete centre forward, the best in Europe for me.
I just couldn't resist, I just knew as you said Rooney would score as soon as you made your post. Soapy Tit Wank

Dell you bastard!! Wink

Utd have been pretty fortunate here, Roma deserve a goal, for their second half showing.  Not been a great match though eh?

That Ronaldo is a bit good.

Fantastic to see a player "like that" power a header into the net while clattering into a centre half.

They (United) did what was needed. Soaked up the pressure and damaged them on the counter.

Professional performance, United can be a bit of a damp squib away in Europe.

I hate this "love-in" the papers and tv have with Ronaldo-public enemy no1 in 2006-"we dont want cheats like that in our League","there's no way Rooney will play alongside him again"etc etc
