How homing pigeons manage to home is still a bit of a mystery....we've  a similar instinct though.  It comes in useful when you find yourself in some featureless place like West Swindon after a night on the lash, and have to walk home in the morning.  You invaraiably do so.

I was always taught that at secondary school science level. There's the possibility that it's a bit of a simplification. It was pretty much the inspiration for my pretend knowledge.

There's actually a proper bee killing disease going down isn't there? Although I thought it was only in America?

I have hit two pigeons in my car. You could say that I am "on a hattrick".

I have also hit a gull, run over a badger, and a fox too. The badger broke my exhaust.

For a perfect one it'd have to be one with the left wheel, one with the right wheel, and one with the badge on the bonnet.

If the badger broke your exhaust, you were within your rights to run over it.
