I don't think Ben would have used the health service for a number of years. I know he doesn't claim benefits. I'm sure he pays taxes on White Ace. Saying that he is a lazy lay-about bum who does need a job

Some great points...i dont agree that some person whos worked there bollocks off too earn a good salary should pay more tax than some fat layabout, why should a person whos worked for 20 years to earn 100,000,per anum have to give up 40,000 of it.....thats just tax!.....its not a fair system and why lots of people work abroad, theres no incentive for people like me to earn more, because they will take more.

How many jobs have you had done around your house and if you know them they will always give you one price for cash and the other through the books? Of course most people will take the cash price option, no VAT and at least 10% off on top. I'm all in favour of mates rates, having a friend who's a mechanic has saved me a shed load over the years! Don't have a problem with the amount of tax etc that I pay, just annoyed at where much of it seems to be distributed. Yes my next door neighbour with his £45,000 extension has saved shed loads as well paying cash, talking to the builder, he will be having his fifth holiday in Lanzarote in a year at his villa he purchased three years ago, apparently he had to get rid of the cash somehow. Some say good luck to them of course, but who pays in the end, your honest working man. With that much money he chose Lanzagrotty? Didn't say he had class, just loads of excess cash to get rid of!!!

Is it Fair that the affluent in society can pay privately for diagnostic health tests and then jump the NHS waiting list cos they have a definate diagnosis ( you do not have to pay into BUPA to access private health care!!!) Idealistically Life would be FAIR to everyone Realistically Life is UNFAIR

Dont really take alot of notice most weeks, but had a good look at my compulsory outgoings this week and frankly was shocked how much i fork out every week.tax 120 pounds,40 national insurance,30 for council tax.....so thats the best part of 200 every week before all the other fukin tax they put on fuel,etc.......what really cheeses me is VAT....what is that all about, value added tax, what a con, best part of 20 quid every 100...but cant really see any extra value can you?...What do you lot think,do we get value for money, what is the nat insurance really for if we all have to dig deep for our pensions as well,to be honest its pissed me off and i wish i hadnt looked into it now! Whatever you may think of Michael Moore's documentaries/films, watch one called 'Sicko', then see how you feel about taxes/national insurance etc. It may or may not make you feel different.

As the government spend around £90bn on the NHS, £33bn on defence and £74bn on education, it's more like £15 a week you pay to those cunts sat on the sofa. You're lashing out slightly more to those cunts looking after sick people and those cunts trying to teach kids stuff. Bastards!
Edit: more seriously, we do spend a shocking amount on benefits although not all of it goes on whatever the hell they call the dole these days (there's a fair whack goes to child poverty, tax credits for working families, child support, stuff for pensioners etc). And after a quick 10-minute google I couldn't actually find a simple breakdown of UK govt spending. Like a simple "where your money goes" table. Anyone better at googling care to try digging one out? It's a bit outdated but gives you a rough idea. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/simon_pieman/Spending.jpgSource: http://www.ifs.org.uk/publications.php?publication_id=1791Cheers Si

tax is fine - I don't mind paying - the NHS fixed up my arm good (and I claimed the cash back from my healthcare provider)
