We Tranmere clearly aren't a good advertisement for Friday night football = big crowds - 5800, what a dire attendance

I thought it was 8,777?

Absolutely not.

I'd guess 500 at a push.

I'd be interested to know how many we actually took.  500  was really based on sheer optimism.

It's a long way on a Friday night. People either
a) Can't be bothered
b) Can't make it due to work
c) Are quite rightly pissed off with the way things are going

I wasn't expecting anything from last night's game as it was always going to be  tough fixture. I'm still not paicking as we have Jills, Vale and Millwall all to come. That's not to say everything is fine, but I'm pretty confident we'll pick up more than enough points by the end of the season.

It would be shocking if we didn't get them 4 points needed. I'm still worried though. I hope Carlisle win today to keep the gap the same.

also Gillinghams home form is nearly as good as ours

STFC W9 D5 L6 = 32 POINTS

Gills W8 D7 L4 = 31 POINTS

they've lost less at home than us

As it stands:

15 Swindon 40 -2 48
16 Yeovil 40 -16 48
17 Cheltenham 40 -17 47
18 Bristol Rovers 37 -3 46
19 Millwall 40 -14 45
20 Crewe 40 -16 44

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

21 Gillingham 39 -28 39

Doesn't look too good really. Only 4 ahead of Crewe and 9 ahead of Gillignham who have played a game less.

Oh....

not by much, I just did the BBC predictor and had us finishing 18th on 50 points...Gills about 6 behind...

a 1-1 draw away to Rovers I think left us 7 ahead with 6 left to play for...
