I wasn't at the game and violence is out of order. I'm quite happy to be shot down here but I find Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve quite funny. I've got a brother who's gay and I am not homophobic but come on its a bit more subtle and clever than a "town full of faggots". I wonder if there were any complaints from the Brighton fans. Violence - no. Banter - yes particularly if its near the mark.

Some of the comments on that article are quality, in particular the Danny Dire one!

Goodness me the utter outrage. This is the only time this has ever happened and the Swindon fans must take the sole blame.
*Raises eyebrow*

I heard some guy on a phone saying "what a great turn out by swindon we turned them over" at the game... We went to the game and then drank in Haywards Heath before the game to avoid trouble!

I am not sure what kind of abuse the other fans give them but I would imagine it is about the same... However Homophobic chanting is illegal like racist chanting I believe...

I'm sure people have been scared or ran inside etc but never attacked... I could ofcourse be wrong.

So did you have a moral attack of conscience when you were chanting about sheepshaggers in Swansea Gaz...?

Yes it does, nobody is denying that, think the point got a little bit missed. I agree with you for once. The point is the hole thing is sad. Arriba - I know what goes on I'm not stupid, I just don't want it in my face queueing for a burger, I also don't want small children scared. Football hooliganism is pathetic and makes me sick. Go to football have a few beers, enjoy the fucking game.
