I see that Roberts is to undergo an operation on Tuesday due to a small fracture in his knee which is a career threatening injury.

I hope all goes well for him though and we do see him back gracing the CG sometime next season when he is back to his best.

I think he will be gone in the summer. Wages are probably best spent elsewhere if he's out of action for long periods of time every season

I think we could probably save some serious cash if we offloaded players like Roberts, Corr, and even Adi Williams.

2 of those players are easily replaceable as well

Maybe it would be best just to put him down?

Williams should go, I'd imagine he'll be on very good wages, brought in by Wise, from a championship club (was he not at coventry before?) and now offers nothing on the playing side of things and what he offers on the coaching side of things is debatable.

Leave him to concentrate on supporting Reading.

I agree.  Williams seems somewhat of a carthorse.

Yes I'd get rid of Williams and Byrne in the summer I appreciate they did alright as caretakers but now offer very little to the coaching team.  Byrne just seems to shout at the players and its difficult to see what Williams does.  Personally I would like to see Malpas bring in 2 of his own coaching team and build a strong backroom team.  One of the reasons Sturrock has a good record in management is his coaching staff Sommerfield and Blatchley are both very good and specialise in areas that Sturrock is weak in.

i'd keep byrne tbh. he seems to be the stereotypical number two, shouting alot, whilst malpas sits back and takes it all in. I dont think malpas will ever be a touchline raver, so to have someone alongside him to kick the players up the arse from time to time wont be a bad thing

I don't think we should keep Williams by any means but I don't get why people are slagging him off. Bloke was magnificent for us last season until he got injured and twice the player Aljofree's looked recently.

Look what he did for Jerel's game.

Whilst he did alot for Jerels game, dont over look the defensive coach....

Jerel hasnt looked the same player since Sturrock and his back room team left.

I love the way we all know what the coach does with the players in training.

...and what I remember most about the Ifil-Williams partnership was Ifil spending most of his time bailing out ex-FA-cup-semi-finalist.

Some have very short memories.
