It's ok, all the good people go to hell. Who would you rather spend time with. Me, the devil and Johney Depp or Rory Fallon, Jesus and Ghandi?

I would have thought that 2 goals against the Slave Traders is a bloody good start at repenting.

It won't help him. Religious people suck at sport.

Didn't Harold Flemming also used to refuse to play on a Sunday? Although those were different times. Ironically Sport has now somewhat replaced religion in the go and worship and sing in big groups pastimes.

Jimmy Allan Town goalie in the 70s refused to play on a Sunday.  Lost his place to..................Jimmy Barron..........No wait............Little Northern guy........It's comeing........No it's gone.

When Don Rogers played in an England Youth team, which won the youth world cup in about 63,  alongside the likes of Harry Redknapp and Howard Kendall, was a fella called Peter Knowles.

He had a bro Cyril....of nice one Cyril fame.  Knowles was a serious talent scored 60 odd from 170 games for Wolves from midfield ....then aged about 24 he jacked it in to become a Jehovah's Witness, or something similar.

Cyril died quite young...no idea what became of Peter.

Found his religion after he was a bit good at his sport....

But really, I thought everything I said was a bit tongue in cheek? I don't know anymore.
