can you imagine Sam Parkin 2003 on the end of those crosses.

Goals galore

True. Fallon would do a job on them as well ( i pissed myself when I found out he scored both goals at Aston gate on sat)

Although I've just said I'd start blair and cox again v Brighton on another thread. As long as we keep it on the deck again.

Rory is a bit of a Shithead specialist.....odd how some not so prolific players just seem to do well against particular opponents.

Thing that works at the moment is if Macca gets a couple of fella's marking him Comminges comes up to support, those two have linked up really well of late, the support of Miguel may suit his game better than Vincent being at left back.

This is a shocker from me (as I have always 100% supported the importance of JV in the 1st team) but I wouldn't recall Vincent when fit, Miguel and smith at full backs has been a joy to watch.

Im in the same boat.

Always thought Vincent played an important role within the team and when he was missing earlier on in the season we clearly missed him.

Dont think we have this time around.....on that note though

Quite right about the full backs... but I'd give Aljofree the old heave-ho to accomodate JV, who looks a better centre half than he does left back.

Good point Dave, I didn't think of that change.

Although despite Aljo looking dodgy at the back, I did enjoy a couple of his attacks late on, a few one two's from our centre half.  Ifil was truely immense, strong, calm on the ball.

My God this optimism should have worn off by now, but it's still here, burning brightly.

Plays exactly like Shawn Wright Phillips but with better crossing. He has excellent talent and I expect watofrd got at least 50% sell on clause.

I think he's been dodgy for the past month or so personally and Saturday the second goal was down to him losing his man I'm guessing as he seemed to spend the last 10 minutes walking around with his hands on his head which isn't great leadership from the captain really. If we had any options I would leave him out for a while to have a rest or something.....maybe age and a long season has caught up with him.

McNamee is better when he's got a full back willing to overlap, and whose distribution stretches beyond the high punt down the line.

So, anyone other than Vincent.

I dont think miguel overlaps that often when he's on the left. Certainly no more than vincenté

Maybe not overlap as such, but he certainly spent a decent amount of time in the Carlisle half offering options.

One thing I do question though is when defending corners I'd feel more comfortable with Cox on the post and McNamee upfield. We had it the other way around on Saturday.

i've only seen macnamee have a decent game once and that was against huddersfield who were dogshit.

i still don't like vincent and he can't even hoof the ball properly let alone pass it

The games he didn't play so well he had 2 men marking him out, as others have suggested may happen in the future. This came about because every time Vincent got the ball the defending team expected the ball to be punted down the left, and there wasn't a free man because both our centre mids didn't offer any threat going forward.

Exactly Si so if he has two men on him and Miguel runs at their defence what are they gonna do bring another man over, creating room in the middle.  Vincent like others have said wouldn't naturally want to bring the ball forward in the same style allowing the two men to sit deeper covering MacNamee.
