Warning warning - started blowing bloody hard down here and raining monsoon like - it's on it's way. Sad
Violent storm 11 with 'phenominal' seas forecast overnight. High spring tide @ about 6am so it's up at 4.30am to make sure the sandbags aren't needed - it's grim out west !!

On the positive side I may not be able to get into work tomorrow & will have to give myself (another) written warning

Wow, so not only have I survived the great 2008 earthquake, I awake to find myself a survivor of the great storm too!!!

At first all seemed normal, the roof on my house was still attached, my car undamaged, it was until I saw my garden when the full scale of damage was plain for me to see.  My grass collector (the bit you put on the back of your flymo) had been carried a full 10 yards, from the backdoor to the middle of my lawn.  Amazing, as if by some superior force.  I'll never forget this storm, never.

I might take a picture of the devestation later and post it up here.

remember last year, we made light of all the floods up north, and then east swindon sunk.

Don't mock the weather yet
