Shall we? I'll buy a cheap tacky trophy and perhaps Marie could hand it over at one of her study session things where she meets the players at the Cg?We'd need a photo though. This is perfectly crap and Ill get it engraved- http://www.trophiesandmedals.com/Default.aspWhat do we think?

I'd see an award for something similar to the champagne moment in Test Match Special.....my three nominations would be.......cut to video footage
1. Rory Fallons header v Sheff Wednesday, to put us 3-2 up.
2. Jerel Ifil's head butt v Huddersfield
3. The dude who waddled out of the TE with the "come on then" gesture when Parkin was getting surrounded by handbag swinging Bradford City players befroe his red card.

I'm sure if we were all up for it SY could suggest it to his Supporters Club mate, and we could probably have the award given on the pitch against Chesterfield - the Disabled Supporters Club give an award, why shouldn't the Townend Forum?!

I vote for the legend that is Lloyd Opara. We should have a statue built though rather than a trophy - Yeovil Red is paying

The shortlist of the TEF Player of the Year Award 2005
Lloyd Opara - Mark Yeates - Paul Mitchell - Jamie McMaster Andy Gurney - Jamie Slabber - Adrian Viveash
Even the bookies would be confused by that shortlist.

Even the bookies would be confused by that shortlist. Winner has to be McMaster then, simply because of his dazzling cameo up at Barnsley!
