I would be livid i that ref gets to ref another game, lost it totaly.

Macnamee was superb.

Smith was dodgy in goal, Kept punching to start with when he didint need to, then the 50/50 challenge he hurt his arm and form that moment his kicking went to pot and started to try catching balls and i think i counted about 3/4 times he dropped the ball.
Apart from that, he didint really have much to do.

Ming's move to the left didint phase him at all, again was great.

Umm Ashikodi? I dont know where to start. haha.

The ref was a disgrace. How on earth was that a penalty in the first half? Peacock clearly won the ball. It was the turning point in the game because we were cruising before then. Mcnamee looked class as did Miguel and i thought they looked good down the left as a partnership.

Peacock should never have been sent off. Paynter shouldn't have been booked in the first place. Didn't see the sending off for him though as i was in the town end and it was hard to see. But we showed passion and guts to hold on and i'm happy because we won the game.

there will only be 1 goal in it, and it wil be a reaaaaaaally boring game to watch

I told ya!!

That ref was absolute gash. I had a perfect view of the penalty from the town end, and peacock quite clearly played the ball. I do think his sending off was fair, studs up and showing. Can't complain at paynters either. All the bloody 50-50's went to huddersfield though. The ref has absolutley no clue about football whatsoever, and the soner he fucks off and dies (or retires) the better for everybody.

We went 3-0 up without really deserving it. We had 4 chances and 3 went in. Allen Played well, im becoming very impressed with him. Looks better than lukas did at that age, and a damn site better than pook.

Smith looked abit dodgy, making punches when he should of caught them. But the only goals he conceded were penaltys, so can't be too critical. HIs kicking was slightly cack though. Aljofree had a good game, and ifil looked abit dodgy. Commingesh again was properly immense, even on the left

MotM though has to go to one man: Anthony Mcnamee. He fell away a little second half, but in the first half he shat all over sincalir. And his delivery the last 2 goals was quite simply superb.

And i've said it once, i've said it a million times - a growing minority of swindon fans are fucking mindless retards f the highest order. Listening to radio swindon on the way back and i wanted to punch the fucking radio. One text in particular. I paraphrase, but it went along the lines of "we battled well today. Still want Malpas out though" WHY?! We've just won ffs. If the bloke's gonna get slated when we win, he hasn't got a fucking hope, whatever he does. If paul sturrock had been in charge and we got the same result people would of been lining up to kiss his ass. And that my friends, is a bone-fide, fucking FACT

it was hardly boring.

Right then just got back.

The ref was absolutely shite, and got to the point where he was giving EVERYTHING to the away side.

The penalty before half time was a joke as Peacock won the ball, and the lino looking straight at the incident didn't give nothing.

A few minutes later Aljofree was caught late in the penalty box after putting a cross in...but no penalty for us.

Peacock given a straight red for a challenge that was at most a yellow. Hell he didn't even know what he was sent off for.

Paynter was sent off for handling on the line, but before the ref blew up, one of the Huddersfield players had forced the ball over the line, so he could've given the goal and we would've still had 10 men on the field.

But what typified his performance was the fact he didn't send Andy Booth for a very late challenge, after he'd already got booked, but just had a chat with him.

Ray Lee...remember his name with fear. Also, do not trust a referee with two first names.

And this after we looked like thrashing them with MacNamee causing so many problems.

The two reds were justified. First of all Peacock's challenge was very stupid in the current climate. I heard his studs on the player's shin pads from the back of the Kingswood stand.

For the second red, if the ref had given the goal then he would have had to book Paynter, who was already on a yellow anyway.

Shocked by such a poor refereeing performance.

My MOM is Miguel.  Played well at left back, gave his all as usual.

Phil Smith has to retire to the bench I'm afraid.  Simply not good enough at all.

It can't be coincidence that McNamee has his best game when paired up with a progressive, attacking fullback?

Thats the irony of it all. Despite such a shit performance, the two red cards were justified!

Tonight....

Ref was awful - proper terrible. Seemed to lose it midway through the first half. I was in the Town End, and it was NEVER a penalty for the first one. Ref may have had a bad view, but shouldnt have been.

Great goals, and McNamee looked awesome everytime her got the ball. Exactly what Roberts was missing on Saturday.

The minge looked great again, and first half we were in control. Paynter was an idiot for handballing, but i guess it was a spur of the moment thing.

Cant understand the smoking situation in town end....i dont smoke, but dont have a problem really. Obviously its banned so loads of fans go to the toilets in Townend every week for a crafty one - i just cant work out why there are always about 8 stewards standing outside, but not going in to check! If one of them just walked in, they would smell fags, and see people hiding behind cubical doors!

And finally im getting pissed off with Swindon fans in general. Fair play to those who turned up tonight, and i thought things had changed when Phil Smith didnt get booed at the start this week. He had problems with his kicking today, but people  constantly shouting that he is shit, and singing "one Peter Brezovan" isnt gonna help anyone. Im sure these people are the same twats shouting for Malpas out every time we concede a goal.
And to the other side of me was a bunch of people slagging off Ashikodi for not marking or trying! He came on, didnt stop running for 15-20 minutes - im not sure how these people expect him to mark 2 players at once. He didnt do much, but he was definatly covering a lot of ground. And im not Malpas biggest fan, but i thought taking him off again was a masterstroke - wasted some time, got fresh legs up front AGAIN and didnt disrupt the shape of the other 8 players.

What a great game.

What a shit ref. Makes Styles look good. Never in a million years a penalty. That decision changed the game.

No arguments about the second sending off, though a second yellow may have yielded a lesser ban than a straight red. It was a twattish thing to do thought from Paynter. Is he out for longer because this is his second sending off?

Need to see the first one again, did look that bad but I only really saw it out the corner  of my eye.

McNamee ripped their fullback to shreds. Was Sinclair marking him the first half? Whoever it was will be having nightmares.

Personally I'd have taken to booked Paynter off rather than Cox. Paynter was superb, but with 10 men Cox's workrate would have been better than Paynters 'power'. I guess he thought Paynter would hold on to it better.

Chris Allen was good again tonight. Early days, but the step up from youth/stiffs to first team is so far seamless.

Was Akishodi injured hence subs? If so I apologise for calling him a lazy cunt who should fuck off back to Watford. If not, erm, see previous.

Most of what I wanted to say has already been covered, but I want to mention a couple of points.

P Smith - what the fuck's happened to him?! He dropped 3 or 4 easy balls, granted he picked them up fairly easily but he should have held them in the first place. I think he's been told to punch crosses, as is evident with Brez as well, but he just doesn't look comfortable with it. Once he's punched it he just gets stranded around the penalty spot and can't make the follow up crosses that come back in.

Ashikodi - fucking useless. I understand subbing him to waste time, but when he's only been on for ten minutes and we're down to 9 men he needs to CLOSE THE FUCKING BALL DOWN! He just wandered around up front and generally didn't give a fuck.

Our dugout - somebody needs to take charge. At one point I saw Malpas and Byrne having a go at Comminges, Granville shouting orders and Williams shouting at someone else. Where's the fucking organisation?

Referee - if it was a Saturday game I would quite gladly have waited behind after the game and verbally abused him. He was truly awful. Fair enough, both sendings off were deserved but he was so inconsistent it was unbelievable. Paynter (before being sent off) was being kicked to bits by the 'Udders centre halfs and the ref didn't even give a foul.

I'd agree with all of that, except the bit about ashikodi running. He should of been tracking back like his life depended on it. Not just casually watching as the four defenders charge forwards

Sorry but that is bollocks. It looked a half assed effort on his part but on reflection he may have been injured.

I didn't think it was possible but that ref made Rob Styles' performance against Rovers look superb.

First goal was well worked, Cox broke down the left turned back onto his right and put the cross in... decent volley to finish it from Paynter. Second and third goals were both set up by McNamee I think, who was superb first half, but didn't seem to see so much of the ball second half. Credit to Easton for making the most of being stuck out on the wing and weighing in with a couple of goals. Cox should have scored from another McNamee cross after about 25 mins but managed to pull it wide from 6 yards.

Then the ref decided to make a game of it. The penalty, I'll admit I didn't have the best view, but it certainly looked a little harsh. Half time, 3-1 but it could well have been 4 or 5 for us, Huddersfield were awful at the back.

Peacock's red card looked a little harsh I hope we'll be appealing, he didn't seem to get much contact with Kamara... the way he jumped up a moment or two later certainly suggests so.

Paynter's red card, spot on. Stupid thing to do, he'd already been booked so there was no doubt he'd have to go. By all means throw yourself at it and hope to get something on it but don't start playing volleyball ffs.

Ashikodi, I don't remember him breaking into a sprint at all. He just seemed to come on and wander around for 10 minutes.

Chris Allen really impressed me, distribution was superb and got stuck in towards the end when Huddersfield were streaming forward for the equaliser.

I've been looking forward to Orient next week, but it's going to very tough without Peacock and Paynter and we'll do well to come away with anything. On the brightside, it'll probably mean Easton moves back into the centre.

Thats fair enough and there were a couple of occasions where i would have expected another player to go whole heartedly. What annoyed me though was the fact that he was the only striker at the end, and everytime their full back passed it to another defender, people were getting on his back for not marking that player!
