I dont know what mercenary means Soldiers of fortune hired to fight for a particular side rather than through allegiance to a country/cause. Like these: http://www.indymedia.org.uk/images/2002/06/233157.jpgWho, in fairness, would make one hell of a tough midfield. Although I could see the FA taking a hard line on the use of weaponry

Although I could see the FA taking a hard line on the use of weaponry Back to the trebuchet's again then? I think that would still qualify as weaponry, albeit slightly old-fashioned. Although if we could field a trebuchet, while they might not be terribly mobile, they'd be nigh on unstoppable from set-pieces. And handy for long goalkicks as well, assuming we have a requirement to deliver a long goalkick to Blunsdon.

Ballistas and Scoripons where pretty mean, they was one type that was used that could impale and entire 5 man defence in one shot.

Send in the napalm lamas At the very least, that would be a much better nickname than the Robins - "Welcome to the County Ground, home of the napalm lamas"
