What a superb band.

Not that I'm a goth or owt but I was put on to them years back and got hooked.  In fact I think I'd probably get slashed to pieces at one of their gigs, if they ever start again.

Temple of Love and This Corrosion are superb.

Anyone had a listen?

I suppose I missed their glory era so missed out on the whole goth vibe at the time.

I know your love of the goths is great Yeovil.

To be fair the guy that put me onto them was a complete twat up his own ass but I love em.

25 whores in the room next door.

I'm off for an "Amsterdam shower" in case woman turns up.  Fucking gas is staill not sorted so it's going to be painful.

Goths are and always have been my enemy.

I think they had a sort of army of fanatical fans and everyone else thought they were cunts.A bit like New Model Army and later the Levellers  and later still Take That.

If you want nominations for most fanatic, weirdo, fucking cunts of fans then look no further than Manic Street Preachers. Bunch of twats.

Superb stuff Sonic.

What's with the preachers fans, never come accross that before?

I think the only band I have hated with a passion is Coldplay, Chris Martin is Daily Mail Youth.

I used to be a massive Manics fan when I was 14/15, totally obsessed like... anyway, I started using a few Manics forums and most of the people on there are utter wankers. Psuedo-intellectual bollocks, spouting quotes from classic novels to look cool, eyeliner and feather boas, self-harm, OOOOH WOE IS ME, I love Richey/Nicky/James, blahblahblahblah. They're all pompous self-righteous wankers. I got called a townie at a Manics gig.

I think all the original fans grew out of it like I did, realised what a bunch of pricks most of them are and stopped acting like a cunt. Like I did. I used to scrawl lyrics from songs I didn't understand and books I'd never read on all my school books because I was THAT cool.

Most of the gigs are full of 15-20 year olds with less of a social life than me and usually much skinnier too.
