we were ace, we're gonna walk this league, we deserve to be in the premiership and have some stars and stuff on our shirts. I think as we've won this league, we should be able to have a star on our shirt.....oh and another one when we play in the LC. I think there would be a lot of teams with a lot of stars on their shirts. Everybody loves stars....how good was it getting a gold star at primary school. |

Right I'd like to make my serious point for the night, albeit in the pisstake thread...
... As I was thinking, the irony of all this Mr Vowles, is I remember the first home game we got beaten after Wise left, in the Merlin car park, and you were on a right fucking rant about how we had to get Sturrock in in 24 hours, eberything was shit and we were going down.
Just let everyone say their piece, some people have already made their minds up that Malpas ain't good enough so let them be, if you pay your money you've got every right to dislike everyone... hence my distain toward most of our players every season. No-one's ever really going to be united behind a manager unless we win 20 games in a row and not everyone will want him out unless we're bottom by 20 points, fuck me even then there'd still be divison.
I don't like the way people get on their high horses though about backing a manager, as I say you can think what you want. It would be mental to sack
Malpas at this stage and more to the point it's never going to happen, so if people want to bleat let them.

people need to realise we are a mid-table team at best, meaning we are very inconsistent, we never win away at Oldham/Carlisle etc so tonight is a decent result, cos we are inconsistent we will have results like the Walsall game but also results like Forest at home.
