Right I went on a bender this saturday in old london town and basicly we could only go to pubs that were old or had a historcal link. So we hit the holbon/city area of london and got smashed and learn't a bit of history all vry good fun.

I would recommedn that these three pubs are visted before leyton they are cheep as they are sam smiths and very very nice the best one being the Cheesire Cheese I have linked all of them and would urge you all to vist them. they are all close to Chaurecy Lane tube station which is on the central line which gets you to Leyton.

I live about 100 yards away from the Princess Louise! Never been in as its only reopened recently after renovation!

Incidentally, it's much nearer Holborn or Tottenham Court Road stations than it is to Chancery Lane  Wink

I'm going to one of these three pubs before the game regardless.

For cheap booze if you're in that neck of the woods go to The Goose.

Got a downstairs if there are a few of you lads and you want to take a pub  Wink

That's two reasons why it's better than a lot of London boozers!
