No idea, probably. I just wanted to make myself chuckle at my own poor attempts at humour.

I was going to mention this on a thread but I knew I would just get shouted down as its an anti malpas thread

but i too heard that hes lost the changing room .. and also that Byrne and Malpas arent getting on either - clashing over tactics etc

Byrne looks to me as though he's been out for Malpas' job since day one.

I haven't seen The Water Horse (the trailer looks garbage) but Juno is good. Hopefully Malpas spent his money on that.

I'd have thought Juno's more Rix's cup of tea isn't it?

I bet 50% of football clubs had a blazing row at one point or another last week.  We've mentioned this before but everyone involved in the pro game has to have an ego the size of a planet else they wouldn't be in the sport.  Players and coaches will all be certain they are right and they are the ones who can do the best job.  All bar 11 of the players will hate the managers guts because they didn't get picked to start last week, just as they'll love him if they do get picked tonight.  FWIW I think Malpas needs all of this season and up to Xmas next season before anyone should think of an alternative but then I know shit about football management Cheesy

I think Fitton has his eye on doing the job himself....he got in Malpas on the recommendation of Sturrock, because he actually wanted somebody completely crap.  Its a bit like the Producers.

By the time MM has finished we'll welcome Fitton with open arms.

my friends dogs, bitches owners mothers, fathers, uncles, milkman wife who sleeps with the postman wives, uncle

said nothing to me what so ever, it must be true.

This Malpas bashing is getting fucking boring.

We played shit, we lost.....why? because are players arent world beaters and Walsall are doing well this season.

Part of me thinks, if the adver and the deluded idiots of this world didnt suddenly talk up our play off chances, of which we never had any no one would have cared that much about the defeat.

We lost some under Sturrock and played fucking awful, but he put it behind him got on with it.....and it wasnt a regular occurence.

Give Malpas a chance to do the same.

whoever, for one second thought we could get the play offs was wrong.

It was never going to happen and anyone from STFC talking about it were just raising expectation levels.....which has come to bit them in the arse after a few games.

Players and the Manager say it, because its want the fans want to hear, the fans who believe it however....

I have something to add! I was talking to a friend at college today who knows nothing about football or Swindon town but talks to one of the 'new players' daily she said to me today 'and there was that massive argument aswell wasn't there? and i said i hadn't heard anything about it and she went on to say that last week there was a big argument at the training ground she wasn't sure if it was between the players or management and players but said when she saw the player the day after he was still really mad about it, make of that what you will, im not saying it's true, but i don't think she'd make it up because she wouldn't even know we had new players unless she'd met one of them!

how did she know he was a new player if she didnt know who was old? who was it anyway

I hate it when people only give you half the information so im being a bit of a hypocrite but i think he's telling her in confidence because she knows nothing about football! So i don't want to give everything away, anyway the said player likes to keep busy so is working somewhere in Swindon in the afternoon's and evenings, he started working with her last week and told her he was new here etc and was playing for Swindon

sounds like a bloke working in Tesco's trying to crack onto a girl by spinning a yarn.

Considering that not so long ago we where just a few points off with games in hand then thinking that we may just do it was not so far fetched at all.

Of course it has always been unlikely but I harboured some hopes myself yet I don't think that I was stupid, just optimistic thats all. Granted I don't see the performances for myself but I can still read the table.
