Fair point Surface to Air Missile, And I do appreciate the fact that anyone who went today paid their hard earned to watch a shower of shite, after which I also would have been mightily pissed off. However I have seen many dire performances from STFC in my time, and have always accepted the fact that: We played, we where shite and we lost. |

Hoddle was in charge, so even under a glamorous Manager who wanted us to play flowing football there were games you'd rather have gouged your eyes out at than pay for the ticket.

Swindon 2 - 4 Derby...one cold and wet December day (1992, I think)...we were bloody awful that day. Thing was Hoddle had us playing some great stuff that season, and that was the exception rather than the rule. Malpas must ensure the same. |
