Crowd was pretty crap actually but then its a vicious circle as the crowd normally gets going if we start brightly and create chances etc.....

Why are people haveing a go at Malpas? The players always do this. It's not MM's fault. They decide what games they can be bothered to put the effort and sadly it has always been that way with STFC for the last 6 or 7 years.
We showed no urgency at all which was a great shame. Our problems lie in the midfield. Easton and Peacock were non existant today and they just don't create anything. It doesn't help when both your wide men have a piss poor shocker either. I don't understand why people got so pissed off at the decision to take Miguel off? He was probably going to get sent off and it wasn't like we had any other options was it? I'm sorry but you have to put more men forward and try and change things to get back in the game and if that means taking your best player off you do it. That is exactly what MM did.
2 defeats in a row but it happens in football. We won't go down which is all i care about anyway tbh after all the shite before Christmas.

I am sorry, but I have given Malpass enough of my patience since he was appointed.
But if thats the sort of shite that he is going to dish out on a weekly basis then I'll keep my money in my pocket.
It's ok him coming out and slagging off the players but
he did not motivate them
his starting 11 was suspect to say the least
he could not put it right at half time
his changes were clueless
Ashikodi is not a professional footballer
Macnamee can only play with the ball at his feet so dont hoof balls in the air to him Don't just sit on the fence Fred, say what you mean!! Agreed though, that was utter crap today and the buck has got to stop somewhere - Huddersfield, Northampton, now Walsall. Lack of organisation and a severe lack of motivation. What the fuck do they do on the training ground? Tuesday night is now a massive game.

ifil and mcnamee were absolutely shocking.
cox was unlucky not to see red. paynter was the only decent player on the pitch.
i didnt see malpas do anything on the touchline today, i get the impression byrne does most of the work!

WHY did smith decide to stand slap bang behind the wall for their 1st goal, leaving the entire left side of the goal open. WHY cant macnamee keep the ball in play WHY is aljofree our captain. hes shit WHY did mcgovern try to take a touch with that chance of his WHY do our fans feel the urge to boo and moan at the slightest chance. and then all bugger off 5 minutes before time. WHY, when a win would of seen us right in play-off contention, did we not look interested. AND WHY DOES CHRISTIAN FUCKING ROBERTS TAKE EVERY FUCKING FREE KICK WHEN HE'S NEVER FUCKING SCORED ONE IN HIS FUCKING LIFE

another thing that cheesed me off today was when Walsall attacked, they were quick and had an edge about them, I remeber Roberts having the ball, running past the defender and onl Cox and Paynter were in the box, with Peacock and McNamee casually jogging forward to help out, needless to say we lost posession, but should they not be busting a gut to get in the box??? We were 2-0 down that stage. All this Kamakazee talk from Malpas... Kamakazee my fucking arse hole.

While I'd agree that we've now pissed our chances of the play-offs, I think some people need to get a sense of perspective - talk of relegation battles to come is just knee-jerk overreaction to what was a shocking performance. Points off playoffs = 9. Points off relegation zone = 8. Get a fucking grip people.
