Started palying again today after a break bought about by over-kill.
The game is just fucking ace strategy game fan-fucking-tastic to the fucking max. I am playing the mediaval 2 series and they are all the dogs.
Fucking FACT.
Innit.

I've never played any of the Total Wars. I might give one of the early ones ago, although I rarely have the patience for the strategy games. With the possible exception of Dungeon Keeper 1/2 and even further back Mega Lo Mania.

Ben, the game is a fucking classic. Just have a look at the reviews on IGN.com
I think that I will never bore of watching a battalion of cavalry chasing down a single archer who is trying to do one.
The graphics are deed impressive but you might need to go for total war: rome (One of the first), if your PC ain't all that.

I am the Spaniards conquering S. America at the moment. With my conquistadors and musketeers it was looking all to easy until the French and the British showed up. Iv'e got a bit of a fight on my hands now.

BangCock you moron. Rome total war was the 3rd in the series. to take it old school you're looking at Total War: Shogun.
Fucking classic. There's talk of a first person total war game coming out in the future, not too sure how i feel about that tbh.

Fucking hell, has nobody else played this epic master piece of gameage??? I've got the Rome one, basically I own Europe and the mediterranean coast now, apart from the crap pikey bits towards the East. They won't stand up to the might of the Julii war machine for long though. Saw there is a new one coming out soon based in the 17-18th century, including full scale naval battles, can't wait. are you hinting at having a TEF online ruck ?
