Although I don't like the idea personally, I think the Premier League are only trying to achieve their objectives. Use our power and influence responsibly to improve the game in this country and abraod through partnership with the FA, UEFA and other bodies If the 1st objective of the PL reads "make as much money as possible, with no consideration to how anyone else feels about it" |

Anyway, going back to the money grabbing PL...
It's stupid playing an extra game, as it'll be totally unfair. Just imagine Chelsea beating, say Man U, by a point, due to the fact they beat bottom side Derby in their extra game, whilst Man U could only draw against Man City.
