I've seen the bar people at the merlin say kiddies have to stay outside. I think there might be a sign on the door. It's probably riskable though.
If you don't want the super packed county then town's probably your best bet. The savoy or the groves maybe. It's not too far to wander in to the ground.
Unless I'm forgetting somewhere obvious.
