Served Darren Gough at weatherspoons in MK a couple of years ago.

His ex-wife and kids live down here don't you know.

Also met that tosser of a chairman Hunt many years ago when my dad marched in to the main reception to moan at him for something or other.

Stood next to Gus Poyet at a pre season friendly with Spurs a few years ago (in the players lounge), in fact sort of met a few around the premiership era in the players lounge.  My uncle used to be a steward on the door, so let us in for free!

Oh, I also know the guy who does the animation for 2DTV, and more recently the animation for Billy Conolly's latest TV adventure.  He was a guest at Steve Cougan's wedding, and the premier of Around the World in 80 Days.

That'll do for the moment, mostly because I can't think of any more.

If anyone's got the first Travis album (Good Feeling I think it's called), there's a spread of peoples faces in the middle pages.

I'm right in the bottom left corner looking like I should be dead. It was my Pete Doherty era..

Became a bit (understatement) of a problem for me, hence the move down here 10 years ago to get away from it all and start again.

Pillar of society these days though!

I met Jimmy Greaves at the calais hovercraft port when I was young. my dad chatted about football to him for ages, and he was a bloody nice bloke.
