Just found out that my step-dad's best mate died on Tuesday evening. He went out for a run and was only 4 minutes in when he collapsed and died. Supposed heart defect. He'd had a heart-attack a few years ago but fully recovered and took up running to keep fit and prevent future heart problems  Such a great bloke, constantly cracking jokes and having a lark about. He was due to get married on the same day as me this year. Such a shame.  RIP Dave |

On a slightly different tangent a mate of mine who i went to school was found in a alley in Chipping Norton with severe cuts to his throat a couple of days ago. He tried to commit suicide with a pizza slice apparently. Hes now stable in hospital, very lucky, a 14yr old kid found him apparently :shock:
