Why Ferdinand, the ball-watcher,everyone?Centre backs should be Lescott and Richards with Richards reverting to right back when Ledley King's fit.Agree with Bentley and Young for the wide berths-definitely not Beckham.Rooney and Agbonlahor up front.

I really am out of it with Premier League football. I've never heard of Agbonlahor either. That's a fucking awesome name.

Because as much of a twat as he is, Rio has been immense this season, with him and vidic being the best centre back pairing in the country

That's coz Vidic is top class-he carries Ferdinand.See him on sunday,he didn't have a clue where Keane was on Spurs' goal-total ball watcher whose performances for England, especialyl against Croatia were embarrassing. He's crap when against any world class forward.Thats just my opinion of course.

Richards isn't even that good. Hes out of position so many times, and his marking is poor. Its only his speed and big muscley body that lets him get away with it. In time he may develop into a good center back, but until then i'd have him nowhere near the england center back position

Lampard won't be first choice under Capello - not his style of player. Thank fuck for that.

I don't see people's problem with choosing Beckham. The only time we looked good in the ill-fated last match was when we had Beckham whipping it into the box. And he's actually got himself fit now!

Absolutely shocked at the inclusion of kirkland over green, and curtis davies had only made 4 or 5 appearances for villa?? disappointed not to see ashton in there as well, can;t see how an unfit owen or fifth choice crouch can be a better option than deano but hey ho

When-oh-when will an England manager realise that Jermaine Jenas will never play in the 1st XI, therefore there being no point including him in the squad?
