Is on his way. He turned down a contract because he wants to be closer to home for personnal reasons. It's in the WDP this morning.

Can't say i'm at all bothered, I thought he was shit to average anyway. I much prefer the welsh hobo Jenks at right back. The only trouble is we've now lost cover in that position.

I'm hoping the money freed up from all these fringe players being released or turning down contracts is partly used to keep the likes of Grant Smith and Matt Heywood at the club. I don't mind the shit going but we really need to try and keep the nucleus of the first team.

some people leave home when they are 16. many go to uni at the age of 17/18. if you want to be successful, you have to put in the effort. London isn't exactly far either.....

Don't take too much notice of what comes out in the media, the reality is that the money on offer is probably less than what you can get playing in say the Ryman league at some clubs.....get a job or further your education and you'll be better off.

Other than SSP, Smith is the one player I am most concerned about. All other out of contract players can be replaced with the same quality of player. But Smith has shone and is not easily replaced with our budget. I think he will stay if he's at least offered what he's on now because he sounds like a good lad who enjoys it at Swindon. As I said before, I hope there's a bit of cash freed up from players leaving to offer Smith a contract that is at least what he's on now otherwise I fear we will lose him.

There is no doubt if Shitty want him he'll go there.....he lives in Cheltnum and seems to like it there so no travel problems and on more money.
