In reponse to speculation in the media on Monday, the club confirm that our manager Dennis Wise is preparing the team in Southend ahead of Tuesday's game at Roots Hall.
Which obviously increases the speculation by lack of direct quote/denial! I don't know why he'd leave to be honest, but money talks when a bigger club comes knocking. read on another site he'd be DOF. Surely not, then again - Nicky Hammond. |

I'm not sure whether he's take it or not... I can't see him wanting to step down (in hierarchy terms, I'm sure get a shit load more money) but I suppose he might have eyes on the main job in the future.
I'll hedge my bets and say he'll stay at Leeds at least until the end of the season.
