Is nobody at all concerned by yesterdays poor performance? I am 100% behind Malpas, but a coupe of his decisions were very poor yesterday.

Firstly playing Pook, out wide. No matter how you try to justify it, it's an awful, awful decision. Yes he may have a good engine, but he's not a winger, simple as that. He was lost out there, and didn't deserve the slack he was getting from some of the fans. Yes, play McGovern in the centre to playmake and keep posession, but for god sake, put a winger on the wing! Roberts was excellent when he came on.....

Secondly, Malpas changed nothing after Paynter's sending off. Crewe were there to beat. Roberts put several crosses into the box, but nobody was in there to attack the ball. Sturrock should've come on for Pook and we should've continued with 2 up front. Our posession was wasted.

I'm desperately hoping Malpas will prove to be the right man for the job, but he needs to learn that when something isn't working, you need to change it, and quickly.

Rant over.

Nope, want him to be a success just didnt understand some of his decisions.  I think he needs this and next season to work the way he wants.

Its the players not being bothred that infuriates me, not the manager in particular.  Just got his tactics very wrong but then again we got a point away from hoem so some will say good work, game was for the taking though

I agree with the opening post ... the same kind of things that were directed at Malfoy during his time at Motherwell .. we are seeing it already sadly

Come on he's had 2 games. Some of Sturrock's decisions always baffled me at times. All managers make bad decisions at times but they also make good ones. Give him time. Let's face it i think he needs the summer to build the squad he wants much like Sturrock did.

2 games in charge - 4 points.

I thought his tactics with regard to Pook were a little bizarre, but won't be jumping on him just yet.

Oh, and I don't give a fuck what he did at motherwell, or what their fans think. I'll give him a few games (More than 2 or 3) before I'm calling for his head.

Terrible game yesterday, which the players were responsible for. Inept, clueless and apathetic are three words that sum up their collective display.................

I found it a bit weird not only did we have Pook on the right and McGovern in the centre but McGovern seemed to be just in front of the back 4 for the first half and things got a bit better when it seemed more 4-4-2 ish. You had some "sort of 4-1-3-2 not a lot of width Pook confused formation special" for the first half.

I also enjoyed the bloke telling Vincent how to pass from the stands in the second half.

On the other hand we haven't lost since the Brighton game *shudder*
