i don't care what peacock is like as a person, my opinion is based solely on his performances in a town shirt and i think he's one of our better players.
In centre midfield yes and whys that ? pook and adams thats why biatch

no, in the whole side.

his work ethic is second to none and he's effective at breaking up play, putting pressure on the opposition, he's strong in the tackle and wins the ball and uses it well.

i'd rather have easton and peacock in the middle rather than easton and a.n. attackingmidfielder who invariably runs hot and cold and provides nothing defensively

Peacock is average in this division at best. Progressive, promotion-chasing teams would be after better...

Peacock is better than average and does alot of work for the team. In the games he's missed injured we've lost all but one of them - coincidence...not he adds alot of steal to the midfield and he wins shit loads in the air.

He's played shit loads of games in this division, at the top end of this of division and he's even had seasons in the Championship

During our last league 1 play off season would you have selected Peacock (or Roberts) in our first team?  Would they have added anything?

LP is a squad player, but not regular first teamer.  Robbo is neither nowadays.  he needs a new challenge elsewhere.

Peacock is a better midfielder than Matthew Hewlett. Strong, more effort, more energy, better distribution,  better in the tackle, better in the air, better leader, more vocal etc etc I could go on.

Also, whilst we were in the play offs you also have to remember that Peacock was playing for the Bristol City team that finished above us and narrowly missed out on automatic promotion - on more than one occasion

no, we do need the two of them.....makes it harder to get past our midfield.....the creativity and the forward attacking play should come from the wings.
