Peacock is average in this division at best. Progressive, promotion-chasing teams would be after better...

Spot on, sometimes i wish the bloke was a cunt so people would start judging him on his ability,

i judge him on abilty and what he brings to the side.i have slated him before to be fair.
but i think he would be a decent squad member even if we went up.maybe not a week in week out player but worth a year imo

I agree arriba as a squad player yes and even what he brings for morale etc, but if we are aiming for promotion this year or next then we need better, Defence is ok, keeper is ok,with cox and others we can score goals so that leaves only one position that seems to cause us a problem imo

During our last league 1 play off season would you have selected Peacock (or Roberts) in our first team?  Would they have added anything?

LP is a squad player, but not regular first teamer.  Robbo is neither nowadays.  he needs a new challenge elsewhere.

peacocks had a couple of good years to his credit. i take your point janagge and agree to a point.
but i think apart from our forwards that year, our team is better now.

i think we will see a few exit the door at the seasons end.but we dont need to cull a few of them.both the minge and peacock are 2 to hang onto imo

i don't care what peacock is like as a person, my opinion is based solely on his performances in a town shirt and i think he's one of our better players.

Fully agree on that. He's certainly better than Pook in CM, as proved last week against Forest.
