Docherty is the only nobody there. he turned out a couple of half decent albums 4-5 years ago and is only famous in  the uk as far as i can tell

I think that judging people by how famous people are is a bit shallow.

He's had his success as a musician and now fancies drugging it up, it's up to him. The media circus around him is over the top. It's like they've created his new fame for being a drug addict and then complain about it at the same time.

true, although interestingly i actually did buy the libertines album - on reflection its shit though, not sure where all the hype about his glorious talent comes from, if I ever met him I'd chin him (after donning surgical gloves for my own safety)
