From today's adver - "MAURICE Malpas has already decided which players will face the County Ground axe"

no need for them to put the effort in this evening then.

The thing which hurts the most is that now Rovers or Barnet will have our place in the 5th round. That's about it. Nothing else really matters.

We can't really bitch about the penalties cos' we should have won the first game at the CG, and then away we had a great chance with them going down to ten men.

But hey ho, at least now we can now concentrate on the league and all that blah blah.

Has to be said though, fair play to Wovers for their result tonight.

But what I really want to know is what happened with Ifil toinght, I do so hope that his shocker was not influenced by Malpas.

At least Malpas was honest in his assesment and said we didn't deserve to win and he learned a few things

We have to pick ourselves up now and beat Crewe to keep our season on track, we are now 8 games unbeaten in 90 mins so use that as a positive and let's hope we get a reaction from the players wanting to make up for the penalty misses

I've just been thinking about it, who in our squad would we have actually been confident about scoring a penalty..............I can't think of anyone.
Goal scoring has been a problem most of the season and that doesn't look like it's gonna change anytime soon. A cup run would of been ace but as it is our season is likely to fizzle out into a season of midtable obscurity now  Crying  Don't accept all this concentrate on the league rubbish tonights result is likely to effect us over the coming weeks and has probably shot to bits the already fragile confidence of our attacking players.
