right, I left school after my GCSE's but I'm considering going back to college before it's too late, but at the grand old age of 19 will I be considered a mature student, or will I be able to slum it with the masses? Do I have to take the full load of AS/A-levels or can I just take a couple of a-levels and fuck the rest off? Anyone done A-level photography?

21+ is a mature student.

You may be better doing a foundation year then look at heading off to Uni.  You'd love it SY.

Sister is doing a degree in photography at Preston and loves it.

dont fucking do photography. i dropped it last wednesday proper shit. full of"zany" and "creative" people.

do something proper and get involved. english language for pure academic shizz which might get you going a bit or media which is really good. making short films and the like,

a levels are great. and i'm great at them. what a mix.

at my college you have to do at least 15 hours a week = 3 a levels

there's loads of choice of b-tecs/avces as well which are worth as much but are more practical.

I did a short photography course a couple of years ago, on some youth program for bums like me. I really enjoyed it.

English is another option as well, my mate tells me media is shit because they force you towards marketing, film studies sounds cool though.
